WNEP TV 16 recently covered the controversy surrounding the NEPA Freethought Society’s really, really, really inoffensive “Atheist.” bus ad which was rejected by COLTS — an entity which receives county, state, and federal funding — and has previously had “Consider adoption…it works!” ads on their buses.
I don’t, though, know what WNEP is talking about when they say that I wrote on my website that this ad would cause public debate. Regardless, whether or not the ad would cause public debate is not a sufficient reason to deny the really, really, really inoffensive bus ad.
