Last week, I launched an Indiegogo fundraiser so that I can attend the 2013 annual Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) convention in Madison, Wisconsin.

I have been working alongside the FFRF since 2011 challenging prayer at public government meetings, hanging banners (1, 2) on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre, removing religious messages from county buses, challenging legislation such as a resolution declaring 2012 as “The Year of the Bible” in Pennsylvania, and much more.

I plan to report on the conference via Brave Hero Radio, interview attendees/speakers, actively live-Tweet, and speak about my activism with the FFRF — per invitation — during their Sunday business meeting.

I need your help to do it.20130822_182540

I added two new perks to the fundraiser — one small and one big — a special poker set including dice, cards, and chips and a signed 25th anniversary edition of Midnight’s Children signed by its author Salman Rushdie. These perks are offered in addition to the Twitter shoutouts, signed postcards, and bumper stickers.

The fundraiser deadline — with 56 hours remaining at the time of this post — is soon approaching. With your help, I can reach my goal before the fundraiser ends.

I hope I can count on your support to help send me to the 2013 FFRF convention. All sharing and donations is appreciated. Support me and the FFRF.

Please contribute today.
