FFRF letter sent to PA regarding prayer, coercion of citizens

In November of 2011 — accompanied with my friend and fellow atheist activist Carl Silverman — I attended a legislative session in Harrisburg, PA. During the legislative session (note: not before), Carl Silverman and I declined to stand for the prayer. We were approached by an armed guard who asked us multiple times to stand for prayer. This egregious violation was reported to the FFRF…and the FFRF, after perusing some legislative journals, found that sectarian prayer was the order of the day in PA.
