I launched a new campaign to raise funds for my attendance at the 2014 Amaz!ng Meeting hosted by the James Randi Educational Foundation. Please support!

I seek to attend the James Randi Educational Foundation’s 2014 Amaz!ng Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada from July 10-13 to provide independent reporting of the event and further my studies of psychology, skepticism, and critical thinking. I will report on the conference via live-tweeting, Facebook updates, blog posts on justinvacula.com, and recorded interviews with well-known conference speakers and attendees.

Your donations will contribute toward my conference-related expenses — including hotel, airfare, conference registration, food, and miscellaneous costs — and support the mission of the James Randi Educational Foundation.

Donors — starting at the $5 level — will receive twitter shoutouts, personalized signed postcards from the conference, bumper stickers, signed books, and the opportunity to select t-shirts for me to wear at the conference. All supporters will also have the opportunity to talk with me via Skype following the event for a special after-event reporting session in which I will answer questions.

I have a solid track record of fundraising and conference reporting including but not limited to my attendance at Women in Secularism 2 in Washington, D.C.; Empowering Women Through Secularism in Dublin, Ireland; the 2013 Freedom From Religion Foundation annual conference in Madison, Wisconsin; the 2013 Pennsylvania Counseling Association Conference in State College, Pennsylvania; and the 2013 Pennsylvania State Atheist/Humanist Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
