With the help of the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) — the largest group of atheists, agnostics, and freethinkers in the United States — the following banner has been placed on Public Square in Wilkes-Barre in addition to a Jewish banner [photo with Rodney Collins – founder of the NEPA Freethought Society] and a Christian nativity scene [I appear in this photo] which have been placed by religious groups in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

I contacted the FFRF after seeing the Jewish banner and thought there would be some room for freethought in Northeastern Pennsylvania. Thankfully, I was right. More details are to come!

“At this season of the Winter Solstice, let reason prevail. There are no gods, no devils, no angels, no heaven or hell. There is only our natural world. Religion is but myth & superstition that hardens hearts and enslaves minds.”
