I’m creating podcast episodes offering practical wisdom for everyday life — solutions to modern human concerns — informed by the ancient philosophical school of Stoicism popularized by thinkers including Seneca, Epictetus, and Marcus Aurelius. Justin Vacula completed his Master’s-level Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree at Marywood University in Scranton, PA. He also received bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and Psychology & the W.A. Kilburn Memorial Award for Philosophy from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

He worked as an outpatient therapist providing counseling services to elementary school students and working with their families. Vacula also worked as a behavioral health worker and mental health professional in elementary schools and classrooms. Justin worked with the Arc of Luzerne County’s Transition to Community Employment program as a teacher’s assistant and job coach alongside adult learners with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

He currently hosts monthly events for Greater Philadelphia Travel: Credit, Miles, and Points in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania & hosts both the Hurdy Gurdy Travel Podcast and Stoic Solutions Podcast.
